The story about the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! got me thinking. Are the police really supposed to be intimidating? Are average folks supposed to be afraid of them? I don't think so. I think they should show competence, capability, but also show accessibility to the 99.97% of folks who are out there just going about their life. Sure, in today's world you need SWAT capabilities and some pursuit capabilities within a police force, but does every cop need to be Robocop driving a tank? I don't think so. I'm not making a huge political statement here, just tossing this out for discussion.

Just ask the British. Officer Nice Guy tends to work a lot better, especially since it doesn't piss people off.

Police should be friendly people in cars that will catch the crims.
